Keeping Connexus in the Loop: Why Accurate Contact Information Matters
Keeping your contact information accurate and up to date with your financial institution is an important step toward protecting your identity—and your money.
If your Connexus contact information is outdated, potential fraud alerts may not work correctly, verifying your identity could take longer, and we might struggle to reach you when needed. Having up-to-date contact information on file will ensure that you receive timely and important account communications from Connexus.
Ready to review and update your info? Here is an overview of how you can make sure that we have your current contact information on file.
How to Review & Update Your Contact Information
If you are a Digital Banking user:
Log in to your Digital Banking account from any device. Navigate to “Settings” and then “Contact.”
From there, you can review and update your phone number(s) and email address. If you need to update your home or mailing address, please complete our Contact Information Change Request Form.
If you are not a Digital Banking user:
Send us your current information by completing our Contact Information Change Request Form.
How We Verify Your Identity
The way we verify your identity will depend on how you contact Connexus, as different kinds of interactions can require different identification methods. Here’s how you can make sure you are prepared for each.
- Digital Banking: When you log in, you will be required to enter the password that you created. Depending on your settings, you might also be required to verify your identity via a one-time code sent to you through SMS, Voice Call, or a 2FA app.
- In-branch: You may be asked to show your membership card or a photo ID.
- Telephone: Connexus offers VoiceID, a verification technology that matches your voice to your voiceprint to quickly verify your identity. Ask to enroll next time you call! If you’re not enrolled in VoiceID, you may be asked to state your member number, so we suggest having it handy when calling.
For your protection, we may ask you to verify your home address, phone number(s), and email address every time you call or visit a Connexus branch. These verification steps are critical to protecting your identity and money.
We will always protect the confidentiality of your contact information and respect your wishes for how you want to be contacted. If you have any questions, please call us at 800.845.5025.
