What information is required when receiving an incoming wire transfer into my Connexus account?
When sending a wire transfer to Connexus Credit Union, you will need the following information:
- Financial Institution Name: Connexus Credit Union
- Financial Institution Address: 1 Corporate Dr #102, Wausau, WI 54401
- ABA/Routing Number: 275982296
- Credit To:
- Member Name
- Member Address
- Member Number
- Member Account or Loan Number: This is a 1-3 digit number associated with your membership and is different for each account (Loan example: 143, 162, etc.) (Deposit account example: 01, 02, 07, etc.)
- Additional Information: (Examples: Payoff loan, title instructions, etc.)
What information is required when sending a wire transfer out of my Connexus account?
You will need the wire transfer instructions from the person receiving it, which includes the name of the receiving financial institution, a routing number for that financial institution, and the recipient’s name, address, and account information.
How fast will someone receive my transfer?
Can I make a wire transfer over the phone?
No. Wire transfers require a processing form to be completed and submitted. However, you can call to request that the form be sent to you.
Can a wire transfer be sent internationally?
You can send outgoing international wires to most countries; however, instructions are required, including a SWIFT/BIC code. This 8-11 character code identifies the country, city, bank, and branch you are sending funds to. Please note that an additional code may be required depending on where the outgoing international wire is being sent to.
You will also be required to provide the following information to initiate an outgoing international wire transfer:
- Your Connexus account information, including member and account number.
- Wire transfer information, including the date to send the wire, the wire amount, currency type, and purpose of the wire.
- Receiving financial institution information, including the financial institution’s name, address, and applicable code(s) as outlined above.
- Account holder information at the receiving financial institution, including their contact information, account type, and account number.
