On Monday morning (April 6, 2015), the Connexus Fraud Department discovered cases of fraud on some Connexus debit cards, appearing to stem from a previous large retail merchant data breach. Per Connexus protocol, the fraud team worked diligently to contact the members whose debit cards appeared to be impacted. Existing debit cards with fraudulent activity have been closed and new ones have been ordered.
As a reminder, Connexus issues a full refund for fraudulent transactions and any overdraft or transfer fees that may have been incurred as a result of the fraud.
